Home of the Meadows Country Market and Meadows Easter Fair



The Meadows Country Market is held at the Meadows Memorial Hall on the second Sunday of every month from 9.00 am to 3 pm. Entry is free and free off  street parking is provided. 


 Market History

 The Meadows Country Market has been running continuously since about 2004. 

 The market was previously managed by the Lions club (around 1994) before the Scouts took over then finally resting with the Meadows Memorial Hall Board

 Funds raised by the Meadows Country Market are used for hall maintenance.


 Meadows Country Market stalls



 You can expect to find a wide variety of products including                                                                                              

 - local produce, jam, chutney, sauces

 - fruit and veg

 - homemade foods, chocolate

 - antiques and collectables

 - crafts, felting, Alpaca yarn and garments

 - digital photos

 - cushions, textiles

 - papercraft cards and scrapbooking

 - books

 - bric-a-brac

 - toys and plush toys

 - handmade and glass jewellry

 - plants and flowers

 - tools

 - candles, soaps and skincare

 These stalls can be found in the various rooms in the hall and outside in the car park area.

 Country Food including 

 - the Market cafe

 - country baked pies and bread

 - barbecue

 - Light refreshments

 - Hot & cold drinks

 - donuts

 The District Council of Mount Barker owns the Meadows Memorial Hall and has insurance cover for the hall and surrounding grounds which covers the  organiser but does not cover the stallholders, their helpers or their products. Stallholders are required to have insurance.

 Stall holders must provide a copy of the Certificate of Currency before they can commence trading.

 By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you understand that you are totally responsible for your trading practices and insurance coverage and you will not  hold the organiser (Meadows Memorial Hall  Management Committee) or the District Council of Mount Barker responsible for your actions during your trading  at the Meadows Country Market.

 By submitting this application it is agreed that you have read and understood your responsibilities regarding insurance coverage and trading practices (as per  Meadows Country Market Rules of Trading sheet) for your stall at the Meadows Country Market.
